India Food Prices Climb 19.95%, the Most in 11 Years

America has seen 50% inflation in the last seven years, so I see nothing remarkable about 20% unless it was this month alone.

Bankers at Goldman are buying guns to protect themselves.

Just ordered one from Amazon. Friend has one and refused to part with it.

    eliminate ads, text only

ET would not perpetuate without their sponsor's advertising which would be quite neutered as text-only.

Anyone using an Options Advisor service that has been successful?

Often carried to the incorrect conclusion. Are you so foolish to bet your life every trading day? Didn't think so.

10% unemployment but H1B visas accelerating

I was not questioning motive. Greed often trumps gratitude for one's homeland. Such HR staff should be exported to a gulag in Russia, there to learn a new appreciation for the freedom they used to enjoy, at the expense of Americans more grateful, sacrificial and patriotic than they. A firm...

How can we buy shares of the Fed ?

Correct. Most of that private stock is owned by foreign individuals and families.

What if your platform sends hidden info about your next possible trade?...

True. It would be foolish for a broker to not track the patterns of its most successful clients. Why would an IT professional work for pennies as a technical recruiter? They see all the opportunities come through the funnel, and cherry-pick one they take themselves, when the right one comes...

Meanness and Greed Are Out, Immelt Says

Without the players, the game stops... given. However, the players don't make the rules. And players have no access to the rule-makers.

    debt ceiling to be raised

What else would you expect from a politician? Before he can pass his NEXT stimulus (not the last), the debt ceiling must be raised. All the debt ceiling really is, is an artificial number for the max amount of debt into which the people are to repay, with interest, to international lenders...

10% unemployment but H1B visas accelerating

Sorry, that one doesn't pass. H1Bs work for less money and work more unpaid overtime. At least from what I have witnessed at Microsoft, Novell and Oracle. Maybe it's just those employers... :p

Anyone using an Options Advisor service that has been successful?

Yet again, the following common sense is posted regarding this issue... If gurus and advisors were so successful, they would be long-since retired and out of the race to sell anything. If gurus and advisors are unsuccessful, I borrow a line from another profession... Those who can, do. Those...

Meanness and Greed Are Out, Immelt Says

F-ing liar. What is he posturing for? I think he is just being politically expedient, playing current events to his advantage. His spin is purely professional. The guy would have to be an idiot to know the truth about people with money and power. Idiots don't make it to such positions. Liars do.

10% unemployment but H1B visas accelerating

Politicians are well within their purvue to inform American taxpayers of labor shortages in such areas that firms are importing labor to perform, then warn those taxpayers that they must step up and tool up, or risk losing those jobs to foreigners. They have not. They are silent on protecting...

Please post good technical setups here

Right, I'm going to publicly post what I have created after years of trial and error... I don't think so. It's not for sale.

    RIMM what to do....

I wouldn't trade stocks again if my brother owned the company and tipped me off himself.
