the 6E contract tracks the spot pretty accurately. The issue is when they hit some key levels and the stops are triggered, then the movement is exaggerated. 6E is not as liquid as spot EUR, obviously. And you have the carry, which creates price bias. J

The stops rest at the exchange, but they are triggered by the last transaction not by Bid/Ask. If there are no transactions/trades the stop will not get triggered. Unless there is something that I don't know. Please feel free to correct me.

jtnet, there are strategies that are traded off tick charts, for example 600 ticks chart. If one doesn't have an access to a true tick data feed these charts, and the indicators on them, give wrong signals, MAs don't align, all the calculations are wrong... Still another issue is to try...
