Just for discussion, anyone has any experience trading stocks that has a lot of gaps? Do these stocks behave differently from the normal ones?

Wow, that was really eye opening. So what you are saying is, the volume should match the pattern of the price. As in the following chart?
In fact, SONS is up 9% since it broke out on 11/20/2006. Is it too late to enter now?
Here is another stock that shows similar pattern.
A seemingly double bottom with a cup and handle setup. It looks like for this one the bearish volume has dried out (around October) and the bulls are taking over.
