The reason for the front months volatility is because I look at them 2 - 3 days after earnings. I look at them this way intentionally for that reason. Even a day after earnings I barely find 0.55/1.0 ratios unless it's ITM or 1 strike away from ITM.
I do have TOS but am not sure how to scan...
Is there an options screener out there that will allow you to search for and compared specific premiums and/or premium ratios?
Every once in a while I find a stock that offers an out of the money contract with 30 - 35 days left with a premium who's ratio is about 0.75/1.0 to the month after's...
I don't want anything for free. I don't want to be ripped off either. 10k for looking over a professionals shoulder and them giving you less than a book worth of information is not worth 10k because it doesn't mean you will trade successfully after learning from them.
Yes business's have...
I'm talking about the piles of money they make anyways because they have nothing to lose. When you can't lose anything but have unlimited potential for gain, you will make absurd amounts of money.
When you offer someone 500:1 leverage but say "if you lose anything it comes out of your pocket"...
I'm not looking to trade anyone elses money... I would be in terms of leverage, as is the point of all prop firms. I would always assume to take all the risk while using the firms leverage.

I have been looking around at prop firms and attending webinars for a few of them just to see what information they provide, and gain a little insight as to how they work.
I basically come away with the thought that they are businesses that provide leverage at your expense only and leech...
This is dumb as hell... you can't short a stock when it falls by more than 10 perecent, why? Sure you can buy it when it climbs more than 10 percent though...
Thanks I'll look into an account with IB for the simulated trader. I just hope they don't got some fine print that says you need $2,000 minimum to open an account. I suspect they do though otherwise there is no motive to give me an account.
I'm not tieing up any money to demo trade let alone...
I don't think it does... I'm using TWS right now and I'm getting completely different prices on TWS than on MB which streams live market prices real-time.
The prices I'm getting on TWS seem about a week old from the way it looks.
MB streams live for 30 days I think then its becomes 3 days...
There is no way I can prove it. I'm just saying I would put my life on it that there are more successful human traders (eg. survive in general and make consistant profits for 10 years+) than there are successful black boxes.
I'm talking about pure survival which eventually should amount to...
