They've been doing fuel cell research for decades and nothing comes out yet. Do you expect to see any fuel cell cars in the next 5-10 years? How can you be sure that by the time it comes out, there won't be any better technology around?

Yes, call me not a patriot, I buy Jap cars only. GM and FORD spent all their money in healthcare and pensions and union benefits, no R&D for years. Now with all the cut-throat incentives, their long-term profitability is a serious problem. Forget about R&D.
