I took beginning and intermediate microeconomics as well as mathematical statistics. They had heavy multivariable calculus. I got Aâs, broke the curves and had half the class coming to me for help. I have a business minor so I took all the core Finance BS classes too.
I do know a good amount of coding for trading systems, mostly back end, in C#. I have read is the language of choice for its speed and garbage collection handling.
I do want to once again thank everyone for their replies, about 126 posts and 8756 views as of this writing makes it one of the most successful threads I have seen on this site. Hopefully it is helping the tens of thousands of people out there who are in a similar position.

I've looked into the CFA, and they require 4 years of full time relevant work experience. Itâs a catch 22 just like most MBA/PhD programs. Need the MBA/CFA/PhD to get the job, need work experience to get the MBA/CFA/PhD.
