Just went to IB website and it says the system is available until Friday at 11:45 pm. On Friday I tried well before that time. Guess I'm afraid somebody hacked my account, somehow. But I can't get in to find out and I can't contact anyone. Can't even open the stupid account activity...

What do you mean by that? How many contracts to a lot? What made the price jump around so much? The spiking up and down was only in silver--for at least a few hours the volume in SI outstripped that of GC, whereas ususally it's the other way around.

Well, I closed out a mini silver and a full-sized one shortly before close today at 13.65. Took out two full-sized May Silver at 13.62. I think if I add or replace from hereon, it will be July silver. We shall see.

I'm suprised it's held up as well as it has today. I was long one silver from 13.40, sold off today and then bot another one on a dip. Wondering if I should sell this one and wait for a possible retracement tonight, or just hold on and think about adding.

Think this same thing happens on the ecbot silver contracts. Think I'm going to stick to comex for now on, and, as you suggest, not use stops. Unfortunately, this means only keeping positions open when I feel confident I can monitor them. Or, as you said, maybe the fullsized gold comex...
