Since I started this thread, I gained a bit more insight into the data providers market and am currently in contact with several of them, trying to evaluate the pricing and data of each before eventually deciding on one as my main.
Here is a list from less to more expensive (I assume, because I...
Could you please tell me what data stream provider did you use to obtain full book for that many exchanges? Most only provide top of book quote streams and one or two exchanges with full book, usually just NASDAQ.
I am only interested in stocks so that narrows the data packages down a bit. This is what I currently got from IBKR:
Cboe BZX Depth
Cboe One Add-On Bundle
IEX Depth of Book
NASDAQ (Network C/UTP)
NASDAQ BX TotalView
NASDAQ TotalView-OpenView
NYSE (Network A/CTA) - Trader Workstation
NYSE...
I have been exploring different data packages for a while and I learned that simply level 2 means top of the book (best bid/offer) for a specific exchange. In order to see other “worse” bids and offers for each exchange, one has to get a specific “full book” data package. Here is where things...
Do you know if one can use IBKR's live market data and pipe it into eSignal to only use eSignal for charts but have everything else in TWS or Das Trader?
If anyone wants to use that plugin, there are some regions that eSignal does not support: https://www.esignal.com/partners/broker-partners
Trading Integration / Broker Plug-in is not available to eSignal users in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region.

I guess I am overthinking it. Except TOS is not an option because I can’t open an account with them (not from US), so that is 1 good free paper trading option less. Same with Webull.
I never joined any or actually be in a chatroom on a live trade but these are making me a little nervous. I don’t know how much of it is actual strategy and how much a group pump via the chatroom participants. Hard to gauge how much buying power beginners actually have. I won’t know where I am...
Traded instrument: Stocks
Actually, there are just 2 guys and their followers. Just 2 because it is surprisingly hard to find a lot of big numbers traders that are loud enough to get noticed but don’t scare you right away (even though maybe they should?)
One is Ross and the other is one...
I am reading about scalping and trying to get a better understanding of the strategy. I ran into 2 groups of people. Those that advocate for being picky about their trades and looking for 20, 30, 40 cents profit goals per trade, and another group that trades way more often and goes for 10, 15...
