Thanks Jerry. I have had the patch for a long time now, and QT keeps plugging away. It's like the Ever Ready battery. It keeps going, and going. Still waiting for some more data sources for MT, then will finally make the transition. Hubba, hubba, Jerry. :)

Trying to keep this QT going, but with a different feed source. Anybody?

Think faster, Jerry. BTW, the MT download went smooth and fast, and works great with that wonderful Windows 8 (blah :mad:) Us MB Trading guys (perhaps gals too) can't wait for the two to integrate.

OK, ok. I surrender.

The only way I can keep this running as of today is to set Windows 8 time to eastern, even though I am in Arizona, and set QT at -3:00 hours behind eastern. Otherwise nothing happens. No quotes and no charts. Yesterday all actual times seemed to sync up fine. Something is not liking each...

Hmmmm. Tough to give up an old friend. Guess I will have to face reality and go with the new. After all, it is still your handsome face running the operation. :D

Thank you. As time goes by, the QT program becomes more and more like "The Walking Dead". All my charts, (the index charts, stocks, futures) now only work when set to "24-7" , which is OK as they do work. Chewing gum and bailing wire to keep this bad boy going.

Turned on the computer this afternoon to start the e-mini futures, and the data is coming in, but the chart won't update. I am in Arizona, and we don't go on daylight savings time, and I think this has happened before. I erased all previous chart data to start with a clean slate, but still...

So you're saying that MT tells you when to buy, and then when to close out the position and gets it right every time? So it sees into the future. Very cool.

Beats me. I use MB Trading and that is my data source. BTW, I tried transferring QT to the x86 program file from the regular program file and it would not let me do it. Said the file could not be moved from a file to the same file. So I suppose I doesn't matter where the thing calls...

Programs files (x86) is for 32 bit. Program files is for 64 bit. I have QT in program files which is 64 bit. Is that ok? Does it matter?

I finally resorted to using a memory stick in an old computer I had in the closet which had the patched version on it. Stuck the stick in the new computer and loaded it into program files. It worked. Thank god for old computers. Right Jerry? What is program files (x86)? Never seen that...
