    Anyone Tried PFG Currenex

What I have been told by PFG: Commissions: $40-$50/Million USD traded Minimum account size: $40,000 USD Margins: typically 2% Spreads on cable between 3 AM and 11 AM are between 3-5 wide. I trade gbp/usd only, don't know about other ccy's as far as spread. Good Luck. G.

    Gbp/usd

Be aware of the holiday thin trading. The break of the support level might be just that. I don't like your entry at all. Good Luck. George.

    Newbie shorting GBP vs USD

It may be, 1.40 is doable. However, it seems we've based around 1.45, we've broken a down trendline and series of higher lows on the dailies "may" indicate a bounce past 1.50 levels. A greater bounce might be on the cards anyway. EUR/GBP ripping new all time highs last week, possible...

macd indictor lags, is there software that doesnt

You think? Are you saying I can't predict the future? Your statement is redundant. I would not try to engage in that kind of discussion unless somebody pays me to "talk" about it or trading is not my primary income. I trade off 'historical price action' only. I like my pnl. G.

macd indictor lags, is there software that doesnt

I can't speak for everyone but I can offer a practical opinion from my personal experience day trading gbp/usd using macd on intraday trends. ( in a range, macd did not work for me at all). Stating the obvious, I was always late (late potato or the gravy) or even missed out on some smaller...

    cax

Email From John Cholakis: "Our standard commission rate on Hotspot FXR is $30 per 1,000,000 base currency units(bcu) transacted." They don't seem to be on the same page. G.

    cax

I heard Dukascopy is light on liquidity, but it's just that ... a rumor. Good thinks I hear about IB. I tested MBT as well but the commission is indeed cost prohibitive for a day trader, even more so if you trade cable. At $50 per million commission your cost per trade is the spread + 2...

    cax

That's great to hear. The overall requirements on cax make me believe that cax might be very legitimate place to trade. I don't see myself anywhere near the cap qualification though. Maybe, taking series 3 and become cta might be on step forward. The account minimum is not something take...

    cax

I am curious if anyone has kicked the tires on recently opened for business cax with vcap fx? The description on their web site sounds like un upgrade from currenex. I've been trading on currenex about year and half and the spreads have been tough recently. (probably, don't have...

    Oanda disconnects

To clarify my previous post, I only trade cable. The spreads refer to GBP/USD.

    Oanda disconnects

I've been running oanda next to my cx (currenex)platform. I'd like to share my experience I've had with "retail" and "institutional" platforms as far as disconnects and spreads. The disconnects do happen on both platforms. On cx the disconnects don't happen as often and last typically...

A Powerful Quote for ya'll to Ponder..

"Nobody on this planet can predict the market's future direction. Not science, mathematics, nothing..." PERIOD I don't know what this quote mean ... do you? I trade FX intraday, over the few years I realized that I don't need to predict the market. I am not concerned with where the market...

    Daytrader's Age

I am the oldest 33 year old daytrader so far this year. It's been frustrating, but making some progress. Don't give up, stay sharp. G.
