think about it in strength and weakness. you can only tell if a stock is strong by watching it go down, and vice versa (tell a stock is weak by watching it go up. if a stock is going up watch the offers that come in while the stock is going up. these people all know the stock is going up...

We are in a liquidity crisis. no liquidity means you can have very large moves on very LITTLE volume. trade accordingly. wait till it becomes easy again, then back the truck up.

Does anyone know of any companies that have real time level 2 over the internet on explorer. So no downloading software. thanks in advance

the problem with trading large positions is that you don't know where the top is. but by offering a little here and there you can get a good feel of where the market is going to take your stock. I'll throw out half my position just to see how strong the market is. and if it swallows it...

such a dumb thread. how about if you are trading an illiquid stock in which you have a considerable position? would you scale out then? or if you are trading a liquid stock and have a monster position. I guess hitting the bid with a market sell would be the best thing to do.. GL

different strategies work in different markets. sounds like yours would work in a volatile market but might get killed in a sideways market. just a thought.

you will have better luck going through one of their prop groups. E trade professional has horrible customer service if you are just one trader... lightspeed is the best software i've ever used GL

It's same as when you talk to people who come from the casino. It seems everyone figures they are up "a little bit" after they come from the casino. But we all know this mathematically impossible especially since casinos are putting up profitable numbers. I actually have one...
