Connection is working again!

Not using SSL. Also tried downloading standalone TWS. Didn't expect it to make a difference... and it didn't.

Same problem. I can log into my account with phone mobile trader. I can also log into my account management through the web browser. I just cant run TWS.

Thanks for the thought. That idea didn't occur to me. Still, I wouldn't think that they would essentially "front run" a customer order. Even if they are allowed to do it, it certainly wouldn't be good PR.

I generally see the same size at each price level on both of my Totalview feeds (IB and Nasdaq)... except when one is broken. Are you sure that you aren't getting just a Level 2 feed from Tradestation?

Totalview does not display hidden orders. I subscribe to Totalview from both IB and directly from Nasdaq. I am unable to see my own hidden order in the order book.

I thought that there was probably a non-conspiracy theory explanation for this phenomenon which might be explained by more seasoned traders. I suppose that others who have discovered the algorithm would not share it. Now that I’ve figured it out, I’m going to make a fortune! Of course...
