Hey guys, Have a friend who has a level 1 reuters feed at his office at an investment bank. He wants to set up a spreadsheet with some basic live fields in it (open, high, low, close, change, etc). He is clueless when it comes to this stuff but unfortunately I can't really help...

That's what made me notice the inconsistency. I don't have charts at all, only spreadsheets. However you're saying with the calculations used to derive the value of the OSX...it IS possible for the OSX to set a new high w/o any of the components setting a new high? In fact one time today the OSX...

Many times I notice the sector index (OSX, SOX) move rather generously but yet the stocks either move VERY little or don't move at all. Given the index is comprised of those very stocks...how is this possible? Thank you. -Dave

dot, thanks for the reply. what's the role exactly?...because this is the first day on NVLS and it seems to be holding a firm group on movement...stopping a lot of runs and drops etc. What order route will buy/sell to and from AMEX? again thanks for the quick reply.

Trading NVLS...noticed a new MM/ECN on the Level2. Symbol was AMEX and constantly showing 5000 on both the bid and ask. Didn't see this on any other nasdaq stocks. This is something new right, or have I been blind? Anyone can tell me who/what it is. Didn't seem to ever actually get filled...just...

I was building a few spreadsheets with the index components lists within real tick. However when i visit phlx.com I noticed the SOX for example had 2 or 3 different stocks than the real tick list. Can anyone provide a web-site that can give me accurate sector symbols and their full up to date...
