Can Canadians living in Canada trade with Bright? Don't have the 7, but would do it (need to be sponsored by a US firm I believe).

I'm curious if there would be demand in the job market for an individual that could consistently and accurately (almost exactly) predict the number the gov. releases for quarterly GDP in Canada, and if so what sort of salary would such a position command?

From what I udnerstand TA's are used whether or not there's physical transfer of certs. (which rarely ever happens anymore). One of the main functions of a TA is to record the registered owner of the stock (which is what Im interested in, not the actual owner as Im interested in aggregate...

Ok, I found sources, but I'm wondering, what discount rate is used in pricing the bond, the foreign discount rate (in the case of a US issuer, the US discount rate), or the Cdn discount rate? Since it's a US issuer I'd imagine a US based discount rate....but maybe I'm way off here.

Not even close, I'm doing research for for my job. What I'm trying to find out is the level of detail of their recordkeeping of shareholders. Also what markets do they cover other than listed equities? Do they cover OTC equities? How about debt markets? Derivatives? Or are derivatives...
