I've outlined a price based strategy in the thread "NEW Anyone Counting Price?" It's a far cry from trading on news, but it might interest you. Go in for a bundle of those near the money PUTS on DJX, QQQQ, and SPY. In 3-6 months you'll be sittin' pretty.

Made a typo on that Nasdaq quote above. It sould be short above 2314. I was looking at the 5 min. chart but the movement will also terminate the 30 min. which has a slightly higher high. fx

Okay, maybe everybody left this thread, but I remember someone asking for some REAL TIME counting with specific trade recommendations... Well, I may not be willing to give advice, but I will share my charts... Here's an 18 and 22 point count in the 5 min. Dow and Nasdaq charts. Any high above...

Geez, that's what I get for "projecting." :eek: :D Looks like were in for new highs (for the movement) before the larger trend takes over... Anyway, the above graphic (posted real-time) does indicate how well price reacts to these sequences, often within a very limited time and price...

Brought up a 10 min. chart today and started counting. I thought the movement illustrated how to employ "significance" rather well, so I thought I'd post it (see attached). I've also done a little projection on it based on what might be typcial behavior... The "significance threshold" here is...
