Longer than weekly would be bi-weekly or monthly. If you choose this period you invest for the long term since you need many candlesticks and therefore many months to form a pattern.

This year has been ok for me. I did daytrades uniquely. Started with 30K and currently have 65K. I do enjoy being all cash at the end of the day and may keep doing daytrades even though we are entering a bull market.

MACD worked today with KLAC. Made half a point with the divergence.

Slight pullback means buying opportunity.

No need to worry about this gap down. Buying opportuniites.

Expect a rally. If not tomorrow, later this week. This market is way oversold.

60/40. It's a decent ratio. Keep your strategy and increase the # of shares. Little by little.

I have been using it for the past two months. The service is good but you have to be a real daytrader. i.e: get rid of all your stocks at the end of the day. It's a hard thing to do sometimes. Maybe because I used to be a long term investor and like to keep things longer, sometimes too long.
