you are crazy if you think the average man can cure himself of the diseases that are still incurable in the world. and if you profit from government subsidized technology everyday but still blame the government, then thats hypocrisy.

that would probably best, as the US government is the number 1 inventor in the world and holds the most patents, means government funded innovation would probably improve society alot more. they just need better work commercializing their patents.

The only reason the internet exists is because the government stepped in to subsidize risky research that the free market was to scared to fund themselves. the thing about innovation is that its risky, and the free market doesnt like the risk so it tries to avoid it or dump the risk on somebody...

But it makes no sense! foreigners like me dont pay the IRS anything! it just seems like mindless bureaucracy, a waste of paper and money.

It would be ridiculous If i had to go to an usa jail for not paying usa taxes when Im not even an american or enjoying the benefits of being american, LOL, im just gonna ignore it I guess... serously even paying for a plane ticket to lift me into America would cost much more than the taxes I...

Nope, im not american lol, now that I took a closer look at the letter looks like it was Proshares who sent the documents. still beats me why they think I need these documents, its just extra costs to them for no reason, maybe they think filtering americans from non americans is too much hassle...

I just got one in the mail via IB and dont know what it's for, but apparently its related to some SVXY trade I did back in 2014. im not an US citizen though, so I didnt think id have to pay the US any taxes I thought there was a tax treaty, from experience I know the W8ben form takes care of...
