Bitcoin miners facing a shakeout as profitability becomes harder

The OP is the same type of person who said crypto will fail at $1. Get it through your thick skills, Bitcoin is the equivalent of what the internet was in the early 90s. Yes, eventually one will be used for more regular member transactions. Why? Because fiat now has competition and fiat sucks...

Paper Suggests Bitcoin is a Prototype

There are already coins such as Burst that have introduced Proof of capacity, an energy efficient replacement for proof of work, but i dont see any cryptos going “mainstream” as an actual openly adopted payment form for day to day transactions

Can you trade investor accounts with a Series 56

With the 56, you can trade the capital of the firm you are trading with. Raising $ from investors requires you act as an investment advisor. You would basically be regulated the way hedge-funds are when they raise $$. The law is different somewhat from state-to-state though.

    Series 56 Content

For the most part but the 56 is specifically designed for the CBOE, so you're technically better off studying material created specifically for the series 56.

looking for a low commission broker

A few million is not going to get you $0.0001. In this market, you would likely have to do a hundred million shares per month to get a rate like that. Trading-associated costs are increasing across the broad. None of us are immune from inflation and the rates we saw 5-10 years ago are difficult...

    S7 remote firms besides Bright?

Any CBOE firm can register your series 7 as a series 56 waiver. It costs a little more though. You can try WTS or Avatar or somewhere like that but you're going to need to open an account and trade there

Funniest thing ever seen at a prop firm

A trader once forget his elevator security pass at the firm I was with at the time. He called up management to try to get access but he had forgotten his wallet and didn't have ID so they wouldn't provide him the elevator code. About 15 minutes after we thought the guy went home, we hear...

    nonko trading

b.d means a broker-dealer. That means they are registered with their local authorities as a company that provides brokerage services. It means they have some level of oversight. Nonko, on the other hand, is just a remote prop firm so they don't have as much oversight.

Why don't you just study and take the test then?

    nonko trading

Check our suretrader.com - they are overseas but they are a b/d. Nonko has no oversight at all so your $$ isn't as safe there. just my 2 cents. Is there a reason you can't join a US-based firm?

    Sure trader

From what I understand, customer service is horrendous but DAS is a good platform and the clearing is decent. You can also negotiate commission prices.

    Confused with Maverick Trading..

I remember hearing Maverick was purchased by a retail broker. They've been around quite a while so I don't think it's fair to be labeled as a scam. If education is your top priority, an educational firm where you pay for training and later access capital will be your best bet because you will...
