Bright trading and T3 are the only firms left that I would do business with. The business is really just about done. If you don't have a 100k to get portfolio margin at a standard brokerage firm like IB, I really don't think you should be trading anyway. And if you have that kind of money what...

Bright Trading doesn't allow more than 5 to 1 intraday naked per your equity. They just don't. And if somebody there says they do, they lie. You're not trading momentum stocks directionally there with more than 5 to 1 leverage. You can get more hedged but you better be hedged.

Bright lets you keep 80% of your money. The other 20% is rebated back to you a year later in commission rebates. You better be COMPLETELY hedged to go anything over 5 or 6 to 1.

Got in at 30.24 on that GDX retest of 22. Just sold now at 35.95 and will wait for a pullback to re enter. Thank you so much Gringo for bringing this to my attention. My best trade of the year so far.

Don't worry its an easy test. They haven't changed that test in decades. Study an hour a day for a couple weeks and you should be good. Any book is fine.

Is this a joke? I did my monthly wire yesterday. It took me about a minute to process (maybe less) and the money was in my bank account within the hour. No complaints about IB from me, best brokerage I have used and I've been through most of em.

Any word on Global Futures? They clear through Penson and I was thinking of opening an account there but I will wait until the smoke clears with all of this first. Still I would like to know people's opinions about Global if they have them.
