https://www.tradingtechnologies.com/products/trading-analytics/xtrader/ADL/ I have no experience using it, so I can't comment on its use.

Does anyone knows how much can I possibly make a day in the FOREX market with $3,000?

Also you asked about books. I have read them all, so I can give you advice I wish someone had given me: Stay away from any book about trading. 99.9% of them are total bullshit. The ones that are worth something are the ones you'd find listed on a university course syllabus. There are...

Does anyone knows how much can I possibly make a day in the FOREX market with $3,000?

Look, maybe you are young - in which case go to university, earn a math degree with top marks and try to get hired by a trading firm that will give you some real education. Otherwise, be prepared to spend several years wading through the bullshit before you come to realize what trading is about...

Does anyone knows how much can I possibly make a day in the FOREX market with $3,000?

Thing is, he said he doesn't know what he's doing. I will give you "No B.S.": I can't tell you how much you can expect to make in a day. I can tell you what the end result will be, after somewhere between 1 and 12 weeks: -$3000 . I don't know how many thousands of dollars you are about to pay...

    Good Canadian Futures Broker?

Yeah that's for the fixed rate, which also looks to be expensive. Ex. Germany: 2.66CAD vs 0.82-1.12 per side. When I go to "Non-US Cost-Plus Tiered" it says: "In the Cost-Plus Tiered commission structure, you will be charged IB commissions which are reduced if you exceed specific volume...

Looked up commissions for Liffe/Eurex and for IB you're looking at $1.00/$1.20 (CAD) per side (<1000 contracts/month) vs. $0.5 with deepdiscount. For Australia it's $3.68 vs $0.5 and Singapore is $1.79 vs $0.5. So big difference if you're trading the overseas markets.

'Where are you on the global pay scale ?'

A grand put me in the top 48%...rather sad, actually. $100,000/year is in the top 0.72%

Any Trader Worth Their Salt Will Buy Mega Millions Ticket

Have you guys checked out the megamillions website? http://www.megamillions.com/ The first thing you see: "Save for retirement", "Build your dream house", "Go back to school", "take that family vacation". Do you suppose there are any poor sods that are actually counting on the lotto for these...

    Good Canadian Futures Broker?

Yes, I agree. Perhaps if you are making your decisions off 5 minute bar charts or something then TWS will be a suitable platform. However, if you are trying to watch the order book it is not suitable. I have used it in the past and I have also used buttontrader, neither was a suitable platform...

    Good Canadian Futures Broker?

Yeah I used NT for a little while but didn't like the DOM. I have heard a lot of complaints from former users (there are some threads at bigmikestrading) and I was clearing through IB and they were really slow on the updates, I had to use an old version of TWS and it was a big headache. Then I...

    Good Canadian Futures Broker?

If I'm playing an outright then I indeed like the ZB. $31.25 a tick and low commissions! Sure I think it's useful at times but I am not using TT (which might tell you all you need to know...) I have only done a demo and seen others using it. I can't speak to how accurate it is, I would only use...

    Why not all in?

Even if your setup has worked 99% of the time in the past, the chance of it playing out the way you expect it to on the next try is 50%. That's why you don't go all in.

    Good Canadian Futures Broker?

Yeah you don't need TT or CQG to start, but you do want something decent that you aren't going to have to spend half your time trying to get working the way you want it to. Just check out the ninjatrader support board.....pages and pages and pages of complaints, people having problems and slow...
