    Risk ON Risk OFF

Note: The answer to my question may extend beyond FX, but I couldn't find a more appropriate section.. anyways I have been reading and hearing the phrases 'risk on' and 'risk off' for a few months now and would like to know what players they are talking about and what trades are being made...

    My theory of personality types

Kimani, Interesting. What happened? Why didn’t you include the puer, and puella, the warrior, the amazon, the father, the wise old woman… etc? A set of twelve archetypes instead of six?

    Brain

For someone who might be interested: “usually have this problem after 2 or 3 days of trading when my brain just feels fried” sure sounds like susceptibility to the ~4 day beta-endorphin cycle to me… subjective awareness of such subtle cues is no easy work… I’ve been short time...

Thank you. re: “You deem your space as the plain English space. This sort of first recourse is one that is not differentiated with respect to how markets operate.” Actually, I “deem” my space as ‘the no language at all’ space. I once again remind you to be careful of these...

So anyone who refers to fractals in terms of price in any of the discussions of the paradigm is full of it?

Please explain and demonstrate the difference. I only ask for a demonstration here because it is a critical distinction that throws many off... thanks.

gabfly1, let me try as warmup Fractals are the equivalent of Swings in more traditional trading vernacular. Difficulty for many with the use of the term Fractal is understandable because, in actuality, market swings are only fractal (in a mathematical, technical, or just plain eyeball sense)...
