Calling tops and bottoms is usually a fool's game. However, there has been some happenings that might justify a bottom on the VIX. Now, let me lay out my case for why i feel that the VIX has essentially bottomed. First of all, since VIX futures have been in contango for the past months...

Unfortunately, the price never reached that level. Though in the next few weeks, im looking for price to maybe bottom out. Going for a potential long again. rationale: perfect crop priced in.

Everything in point, i would look to sell december corn now @434, SL 445,

Hmmn. I think for the Jul contract, 12.45 seems to be a pretty good support. However the question becomes, do you want to catch vol now before it forms a bottom or to ride it on its uptrend?

Currently sitting on a long dec corn from 439, Sl 435. Looking to exit at 549. Monday might bring out some vol and this might continue trending downwards. However its really hard to say because i feel that too much bullishness in crop supply has been priced in already. Secondly, it has...
