April 4th and all is right in the world... Finally. $6.41 and no support in the near future. Ahhhhhhhhhh.

Ha. Hardly. We're coming to the end of a dead cat bounce.

Underexposed trading charts (a second try)

You can't please all of the people all of the time. With that in mind, I'd be willing to read what you have to offer. One thing is for sure in the world of TA; You never stop learning (or at least you shouldn't). I can't speak towards Yahoo Answers, but forums are a whole different...

    need technical analysis please!

I haven't searched for it, but I'm sure a thread dedicated to biotech failures would be entertaining. I was stuck in the QCOR debacle a while back. I also had a friend who worked at a place in Cambridge called AVEO. I ducked in and out of it for a while, but managed to avoid their Phase III...

I guess my rollover point was just a run of the mill bull flag. I like your theory, but I just can't see any way this company is worth anything until they get something approved by someone other than investors.

Yeah... of course... It's at $8.40 now. Explain that one.

    need technical analysis please!

For some unknown reason, it's back up to $6.68. It even broke above the moving averages. Buuuut... the MACD is rolling over, the STO is peaked out, and the RMI and RSI are ready to drop. Plus, it just hit its head at that $7 mark and failed to break through. Again. Wanna make money...

This stock is garbage. 18 million float and it traded 60K shares today. Plus, it has an earnings report next week. Better to take your money out and go to a casino because this one is nothing more than gambling. It reminds me of a little piece of junk named WAVX. I never count "previous...

    need technical analysis please!

Hindsight proves this to be the best answer. :D When this thread was created, the price was too far off from the moving averages and the MACD, STO, and RSIs were peaked. If you're not out of it yet, get out. It double topped at 8, and has broken through the 30d MA. Maybe it's range...

    What is a tick chart?

As defined: Tick The net cumulative tick reading on the NYSE or Nasdaq Composite. This is measured by the number of stocks ticking up minus the number of stocks ticking down at any given moment. It is the least used of the internal indicators but is discussed from time to time. Generally the...

The most important tools in your opinion

Those are rules to live by. I trade on TD Ameritrade and one of the live show guys (Brad) has four distinct rules that helped me settle down and get things moving in the right direction: 1. Trade to trade well, not to make money. (the money will come if you trade well) 2. Fiercely...

RSI - Relative Strength Index (Wilder) & RMI - Relative Momentum Index

I only started using it recently since it helps smooth out the "bad ticks" throughout the day. If some knucklehead puts a market order in by accident (especially on smaller volume and lower priced equities) and overpays, spiking the price up, I like to filter it out as much as possible...

RSI - Relative Strength Index (Wilder) & RMI - Relative Momentum Index

Even though I'm new to using the RSI and RMI, I'm starting to see such patterns. In your experience, would you say the RSI and RMI are more useful as to identifying patterns on longer term charts? Trying to use them for day trading or even shorter term swing trades seems to be more unreliable...
