Seasonal futures and spreads research websites

I wanted to get opinions on three websites that provide information, charts, data on seasonal patterns for futures and futures spreads. I've been signed up with one for a few years now, but thinking about switching. Here are the three sites: 1) www.scarrtrading.com I've enjoyed using this...

Who else offer low options commissions besides TOS or IB?

I've been with eoption (www.eoption.com) for a while and am satisfied with what I use them for. Cheapest options prices (above a certain volume threshold) that I've seen around. E

    Eoption

I've been with them for a while. Really great customer service, and have had no problems with fills, platform, etc. And, as you mention, great costs. Good luck! E

Perks from brokers for opening account

The small print says that you have to sign up with a new 2 year contract with ATT to be eligible. That's interesting because ATT has offered that independently from Etrade (free blackberry with a new account). Slick marketing move--probably didn't cost them anything to offer the blackberry...

    Hedgestreet

They're definitely legit. Really solid business model (and very much on the up and up--everything by the book), and they treat you very well. They're now under the name NADEX (starting today)--www.nadex.com Pretty nice offerings and options for someone not in the full-scale futures or...

Can anyone recommend a good charting app for options?

Optionsoracle is pretty good too. Just ran across this and it has a lot of nice bells and whistles: http://www.samoasky.com/ Also, live vol has a nice website: http://www.livevol.com/QuotesVolatilities.aspx?symbol=oex E

    A few newbie option questions....

Regarding the ETF question, it's possible that certain ETFs can get 60/40 treatment (ETFs on interest rates and futures commodities), but still open to debate. For example, check out this discussion: http://www.gainskeeper.com/us/articles/Stock_Index_Options.aspx also...

For those people that left IB - where did you go next?

Hi, Yes, security of funds is always a concern. I continually monitor the situation--but from every indication they seem to be solid. Their stock price is down, but so is every other publicly traded financial firm out there. That raised a good point--I trade futures with them, so the...

For those people that left IB - where did you go next?

Hi, No, I don't use the X trader platform (but they do offer it). The rates are negotiable. I managed to get a rate that beat IB for most markets, but I'm sure it varies (regardless, one doesn't have to have a huge account or do a lot of round turns to get a very competitive rate)...

Absolute Lowest Commissions Available for Options?

You may also want to check out eoption.com Next to optionshouse, they would be the cheapest for 25 contracts. Also, great customer service (I have been recently researching brokers and have had nice interactions with them). So, they suit my needs (and was the best price i could find for...
