From what I understand, it had to do with the IB server and that is why only certain people were effected. I don't know if the problem was fixed or if the problem fixed itself when IB's servers reset.

I tried a fresh version of QT on a different computer that runs XP and have the same issue. GLOBEX:@ESU1 will not update. SPY is fine. My TWS API Settings is configured just like it shows on the QT website. Rules out windows 7 and corrupt QT file. Any ideas on what else it could be...

I am an IB user and I am having the same problem with GLOBEX:@ESU1 has not been updated from QT. SPY works fine but futures symbols will not update. It worked fine yesterday and I did nothing different today. I emailed QT support at 10am but did not get a response back. What now?

Just a thought but trying to get a good entry near support / resistance can be frustrating. Many times overbought and breakout fails hard. Try using 100/500 tick charts with 9 or 25 lsma trend and just buy on a pv bar high after cci 14 is o/s 100 level 2 bars. Simple and profitable with...
