Saying that seems like restarting the program worked it has been error free since the last time i posted. Will update if anymore problems.

@j medved I was running the thinkorswim platform alongside QT. I had closed the thinkorswim platform after you have suggested it could be other apps connecting with same data feed same account.
I am pretty sure i am not connecting via proxy don't even...
This has been happening for some time(months and years) now don't really know how to solve this. Every few minutes i would get "Error:" ,"Error: connect failed" and "Restarting". Need somebody who knows how to solve this. So i would have to manually connect to the ameritrade.02.streamer.com...

when stuff breaks ur gonna have to basically replace the whole thing if it's something important. when i'ts not under warranty.

u just open an account with td ameritrade. no need to fund it. you will still get the stock feed.
that is the way i did it. use td feed for my charts with ib's platform.

you can use either nvidia or ati line of workstation cards or u need 2 pci express cards if your motherboard has 2 of those slots.

if u use ever used interactive brokers and quotracker the volume is off compared with their own charts. their is also a cap at 100 and goes up only if you give them a certain amount of commisions.
also know a few people who use different brokers and data feeds it's common.
