ES is so volatile that the trade can go 2 points against you and then a minute later 2 points in your favor. I do a few trades with ES with steady outcomes. 930-945 opening range breakout 10am reversal 3pm reversal 15 min range breakouts I love how volatile the ES is

It didn't happen today, I doubt it happens tomorrow. What news can really move it downward coming out tomorrow? I see tomorrow as a buying opportunity for many, but maybe I'm too optimistic ;)

If you're a good trader, the commission fees shouldn't matter that much. I called my broker and he lowered my e-mini commission from $6 to $5.50 for me. Just call your broker and ask.

exactly, i don't go with the fixed loss target if it goes a little in my favor initially, or if it goes against me, then back closer to be, i move the stop. I'd rather get out at -4tics than stick around for 10 more seconds and get stopped at -1. You have to be quick that's why most trades...

Anytime the thing goes against me but doesn't stop me out at -1pt, I get ready to move the stop. In this case I moved it to +.1 and i was fortunate enough to get the move to .3 because I moved quickly. Typically I would've been out with .1 but I got lucky that time. Hope that helps...
