Im considering switching from equities to trading the S&P e-mini. Im just wondering how contracts could you trade using IB, with an account balance of 50K and possibly holding the positions overnight?

I am considering starting to trade the S&P 500 mini. What I need to know is, can I trade it from a cash account as I dont need the margin or can I only trade it from a margin account?

I think if you select order type Day-NB from the MB Navigator, you avoid the fee.
