The Ultimate DAX Scalping Discussion Thread!

there is no "floor" in the dax, unlike SP. All electronic, unless you are talking about underlying stocks in Dax index which I think there is a floor trading session. Depends where you're stops are, whether they are in a relevant place. But, if you see a prior H as 25, and you plan to short...

The Ultimate DAX Scalping Discussion Thread!

Sadly the full answer to your question would probably fill several books :-). The Dax is like any other index really, some differences, but suggest you search for other index scalping discussions. Some people may disagree, but "reading" level 2 is a waste of time in futures, where there...

The Ultimate DAX Scalping Discussion Thread!

Interesting thread. Notice lots of people find the Dax follows the ES. I was very surprised to see lots of Dax charts posted on the www.lbrgroup.com site (Linda bradford Rascke), talking about the Dax leading the Sp. Interesting as they are very seasoned Sp traders.

ESTX50 and DAX vs. ES and NQ

I've traded Dax and to a smaller extent Eurostox since 99', mostly full time. I am a trend trader, and having traded ES,YM, Dax and EStx: 1. Dax is more similar to Dow - and EStoxx similar to SP. But DAX can do it's own thing compared to Estox - ie Dax may very well retest a high whereas...

    DAX daytrading Strategy

Hi, I'm based in the UK and trade the Dax and occasional Eurostox usually first two and a half hours, news in US then from 3pm - 5pm UK time ie from 30 mins after US open. Very interested in you talking about "buy rumour sell news". I have been trading news reversals for a while in the Dax...
