What is the purpose of tick charts and how do you know which size to use. I figured that the lower tick sizes speed up the flow of the chart and higher ones slow it down so I am right to assume that tick charts are to benefit day traders to see support + resistance levels, tops and bottoms...

I know its quiet today but the Z has been quiet for 2 weeks now, it used to be as busy as the FDAX and the ER2 that was:mad:
