Take it easy, I have filed tons of trade disuputes with Etrade and got similiar answers like you.
Now I just use Etrade for swing trading instead of daytrading.
Why bother to transfer? You just close your positions and transfer the money to your bank using ACH (takes less than 12 hours), then wire the money to IB. Takes less than 24 hours. That's it.

Yes, Interactive Brokers.:D It is pretty good on speed and execution. However you may overtrade there.

Right, every broker charges per leg on the spreads.
For example, if I buy 400 Butterfly, at IB, I need to pay 400*0.75*4=$1200, but at optionshouse I only need to pay 9.95*4=$39.8. It is much cheaper.
