i must jump in and say that i've since tried a TT feed on ninja and it is much better than transact even with the newer versions. i will not be going back, i'm officially a convert. p.s. great experiences customer service wise with the folks at infinity and transact, but that couldn't...

personally i have worked with transact on the problem and they sent me a new version of the software that dealt with long freezes, they had found a bug (this was in november). the newer version helped and i never have (and never did for that matter) seen anything like what ares has experienced...

this is the thread i meant to post to. my point is that comparing AT to TT with ninja isn't apples to apples as its not unfiltered tick by tick data. TT on ninja runs on the FIX protocol and is coalesced. xtrader, like AT does not coalesce. i too like the AT DOM and the broker but...

TT is not unfiltered data unless its X trader you are talking about. by that I mean the tt feed ninja uses is filtered/aggregated data. please correct me if i am wrong.

ares, could you also do a similiar video with ninja on the TT feed, curious how that looks in comparison since it is coalesced data.

hello ares, there is def something wrong with your AT. have you gotten the latest version? they addressed the freeze issue. the guys at tranact can get it over to you, give them a call. mine was nowhere near that bad at 10:00 today, not even close. i do sometimes see a minor lag on mine...

i am interested to see a more recent recording as i know that the AT platform has been revised in the last 2 months to improve price data delivery.

cool, i'll have a look. i do use IB now but looking for something a little faster without tick filtering, and more accurate market depth. ib data feed is not nearly as fast as the 2 i'm comparing

thinkorswim, free data with funded account and great desktop app for stocks/options. great charts too. read the livermore book, reminisces of a stock operator and the wizard books by schwager as well as trading in hte zone by douglas. good luck
