Yes, there's some widespread outage going on... no prices are updating on IB or other brokerages. Very concerning since I have no idea whether my orders are even live or not. I've deactivated them in IB, but they still show as the best bid/ask on IB and even on other exchanges...

Yup it's the API that broke as well. Specifically order submission -- I can still pull market data into Excel, but the API order submission process is completely broken. Tried the Stable, Latest, and Beta versions that were bundled with this update; doesn't work for any of them. Still works on...

That is the single most dumbfounding IB Fail there is. Their updates sometimes have change logs, most don't, many exist but aren't actually linked to from anywhere on the site, some only document like 5% of the changes that were actually made. It's honestly indefensible for them to be so bad at...

@def, OP is correct: IB's KB, FAQ, how-to pages are indeed incredibly poor. Far below the standards of what any market participant of your size should tolerate. Here are two specific areas for improvement: 1) The 'Release Notes' that accompany every new TWS update or version are simply terrible...

Talked to IB Tech Support, they said they've gotten a lot of reports today and are aware of the problem. No ETA for having it fixed, but working on it.

FYI got booted from IB servers around 945am today and can't connect / login anymore. Rest of my internet is fine. Tried both my home wifi and mobile hotspot (cell), and same issues with both. Can't connect at all. IB status page says green/all is well, but that's often an unreliable indicator.
