I haven't found it. Just in case, I want to be precise: I'm looking for information on the underlying for which the bund futures are the derivative. I'm not looking for information on the bund futures.
Thanks
I wouldn't know about those days, I started 2007 and spent 2 years clueless & lost. ;)
But trading bund now for 6 months and I love it. To each his own, everyone just has to find what works for them. I plan to increase from 2 to 3 contracts soon and hopefully stay on track.
Maybe what one sees as a problem is opportunity for someone else? My expectancy is 2 ticks and my equity curve is very smooth. I'm now working on increasing expectancy on my second target.
Maybe I'm subconciously seeing these algos and trading with them. I don't really know. Just know...
I'm surprised so many people said the Bund was not good for trading. Maybe back in 2007 that was the case but I've been trading it for 6 months now and I've been doing well. I trade Bund in the European morning and ES in the US morning and my Bund performance is much better than my ES...
Hey I remember you too. That was a long time ago.. maybe 2 years? I was too blind/naif/dumb to realize just how right you were at the time. 2 years later I trade very much like you were 2 years ago (minus the bollinger bands hehe). Pretty funny really. Support & Resistance, that's what it's...
Everyone has their own feeling about simulator and I'd like to offer you mine. Being profitable can take several years. I don't see any reason why one has to lose real money during this time. If one can't trade profitably on simulator then there is no way they can trade profitably with real...
After shorting 1207 and covering 1187 (a bit too early I must admit) I went long 1174 and just covered at 189.75. Probably early on the exit this time too but I'm not risking giving any back.
I really don't understand the question. Can you elaborate?
I trade "by hand" because I react to what's happening. I try to dance with the market. If my trade doesn't move my way I get out. I trade off intuition and that's not possible to code.
I had two nice swing trades lately. First...
That was part of my idea for the blog to discuss my trading. And in the process I realized what I was doing (with the cycles & timeframes) was all wrong. So many people have told me that their story is almost identical, so I think it's great to share. And will save newbies a lot of time &...
I totally agree on the first part there. Ninjatrader is very smart. It's free for simulator & backtesting. So once I thought I had an edge, I paid for it and started trading. Edge lasted a month and fell apart. But by then I had some variations of my system and those lasted a few weeks...
