The Most Underestimated Risk In Trading

Relying on a single edge to be profitable and not accounting for market changes over a period of time. Other silent and underestimated risk can be having a tunnel vision of markets. Best, Chris

    Don Miller 2.

I too get emails where someone wishes to share their good fortune and help me but they are of type that involve a fund transfer to a foreign bank and promising some % of the returns from a son of a dictator in foreign country.

If you don't read Fooled by Randomness and The Black Swan, you'll be a naive trader?

Then what will happen to those who haven't read Reminiscences of a stock operator? What kind of traders will they be?

    Don Miller 2.

He may not be a liar but a hypocrite definitely. Bashing about vendors, putting up a free blog to help "fellow traders" and BAM-launches a paid service. What do you make of that? Chris.

Why was Al Brooks Thread Deleted

Have you read his book completely? Do you know what overly relying on candlesticks means? I think you do and hence the unresolved anger. Do you know how number of winning trades and risk-reward ratio are related before you start commenting based on your bookish knowledge of them? You...

BAR BY BAR -- Al Brooks

You do realize that if you win 70% times making 4 ticks and lose 30% times losing 6 ticks, you are in green? What if in those losing trades, you have stops to break even and you lose a lot less than 6 ticks? Just going solely by risk reward ratio shows how you think. Chris.

Trading WITH versus WITHOUT a system

It is not the system,it is the trader who trades the system. Chris.

Film Reviews: "Broke: The New American Dream"

Tharp realized quite early that it is low risk to formulate complex sounding theories and write books with PhD attached to his name in it then actually trade. Ed Seykota on the other hand does trade. Hilarious stuff though - WYWTFF. Chris.
