I know of so many astrolgers in India who have tried to predict stock markets in last one decade, some of them invested their own money also, all lost their everything. "Everything in this world depends on Luck, Ask any Failure" This is probably what is motto of astrologers.

i hope they reverse but the fall in stock markets started with india first and today it is big fall in china markets. more than 8% in one day , largest fall in a decade. Seems a very heavy profit taking. Till china and indian markets dont break their highs, now I would be afraid of market.

If you are not a citizen of India, then you can trade on Indian Stock Markets only through FII route i.e. through a registered foreign institutional investor in India. If you are an NRI or PIO (people of indian origin) than there are not much formalities and you can trade.

Till the time Dow and Nasdaq are holding, the world markets will not fall. They will try to absorb the shock of Thailand. But if Dow and Nasdaq fall, then there is danger of world markets also falling as big PE funds and FII will want to withdraw their money from emerging markets also.

An important rule and truth about market is that initially everyone loses before he she breaks even and then the third stage comes when he makes profit. In the first two stages, 90% people quit.

The way realty funds are trying to enter India and the way property stocks in india are going up, I doubt that bottom is still near. The best i think is sideways move when weak players exit and then next rally should start. Here in India prices are stagnant from last 6 months.

Gold is still sideways and is going to trouble for some more time.

On the short term charts the US markets are overbought and a small dip is expected but one should again look to buy at falls.

I remember having read a long article which said that with starting of 3rd year of US president, the stock markets start going up. I could not locate that article which even gave the statistics of last 200 years. What do others have to say on this.
