Jack,
Can't wait to read your book on US military's "police the world "
strategy.
I've come to believe in the dangers we (USA) create because of this strategy - including economic decline.
I'm 66 & for all of those years we've been the only country spending & fighting wars in the way...
Hi Spyder ,
Its been a while since I've spoken to you via your forum or otherwise but I'm glad to see you remain 1 of this site's true STATESMEN.

HI WAYNE -
The $$ was < $1000 so a lawyer isn't likely to be interested.
Since I don't know how to "prove" I entered a limit order or the price thereof I am probably stuck - altho anyone using just plain common sense would not buy a stock being taken over at a price higher than the offer...
Hello DHOHHI -
Regarding your price improvements -
I'm assuming your talking on stock trades using limit orders; e.g. Buy XYZ @ $50 & you get a fill at $49.98, right?
If so, I believe this adds ammunition to our assertion that MBT quotes & executions are often "late."
They are not...
GTS -
Yes, that is correct altho I know of cases where hackers have hijacked a person's computer that's not what I was referring to with MBT.
Just to add a little more fuel - I trade with a group & 1 guy still uses them as he gets free Level2 & has invested in software integrated with...
Hi Wayne -
Yea. I agree & I've been trading for over 40 years.
It almost smacks of fraud to me, especially in light of the way they have handled it.
It was obvious that their Compliance Dept did no more than ask their Reorg Dept what happened.
They've never answered the "trade"...
MY PROBLEM :
In December, 2006 I found news within minutes of its release of a small (NASDAQ:BB listed) bank's (hereafter referred to as B1) takeover proposal by a neighboring bank(hereafter referred to as B2) @ $25/share in either in cash or equivalent (adjustable) shares of the acquiring...
I'm no "newbie" but I've never had occasion to go beyond complaining to a broker over an error that they made.
This thread's purpose is both to seek advice & counsel on my "problem" AND to provide a forum for others to do likewise.
I encourage all to share their experiences & knowledge...
Pippi436 -
They can "take over" your computer thru software such as LogMeIn (free)
LogMeIn offers the freedom & flexibility to
Work on your office PC from anywhere
Travel & access your PC from any web browser
Access your programs, email & network
This type software is what...
If they're not in trouble they should be.
1) Lousey for options (policies & slow/bad quotes).
2) Poor management; their Ops Director will drop you in a flash if you complain about anything. I had experience with them & on several occasions they"took over" my computer (1/2 to full day) so...
You'all are 100% correct & I've also complained repeatedly without any success. NOTE: Jack Hersey is 1 of the guys who post that should be listened to - a very good trading guru.
