I use Stop-Limit Orders to enter into positions.
I also use Stop-Limit Orders as a protective trailing Stop-Loss.
I use Limit Orders to take profit.
.........sometimes when I'm scalping I will use Limits both to enter and exit.
I NEVER EVER EVER EVER USE MKT ORDERS UNLESS MY LIFE...
95% of traders have the ability to call the market about 50% of the time and they can see opportunities but don't know how to go about capitalizing on those opportunities.
that is why they fail.

Perhaps you may want to consider liquidating your shorts here if yesterday's low is not taken out today and/or we fail to close below yesterday's low.

Try switching to a long only strategy.
what i mean is buying rallies in a declining stock.
buying breakouts and dips in a stock that is in an uptrend.
other than that all you can do is buy puts.
or switch to ES or NQ futures. (i.e. shorting the futures.)
