Typing Error Causes $3.5 Billion Trade for Company valued at $93 Million

The worst I've done is put an offer for 24,000 shares of juniper 10c below the bid instead of above the offer, on what was INCA back then. It wasn't pretty, it was fairly thin back then, so I sent it down about 6 cents when i realized what I had done, i was within 3 cents or so of breaking even...

    SEC Fees?

thats a bit inflated, really. there should be a cap on how much SEC fees you can be charged per trade

    SEC Fees?

That is nice, its a serious money saver, I pay 2k in SEC fees last month, which isn't much comparetively but it'll put a few hundred in my pocket.

    Brut billable

I got hit with 1600$ in brut billables, and I know someone who got hit with 45k. Its really terrible, because I didn't enable brut routing or anything, didn't change my configuration, didn't try to route it anywhere.

    Brut billable

This clearly does not apply to ETFs however because of "Securities listed on the NYSE, Amex, or a regional exchange (excluding ETFs) ". I was looking at the pricing list last night, trying to figure if brut even charges billables when you're using it on listed, and if its a special order...

    Brut billable

Is there such thing as a brut billable ? I am wondering because I just saw a huge backcharge for brut billables, and I had no idea brut charges billables non billables on amex.

    AMEX billables

I did use to send them to regionals (bosx, chx), and I do use NYSE as well (its nice and cheap) however I get billed .005 for regionals and NYSE doesn't fill as well as amex (at least on the ETFs I trade) Appreciate the suggestion tho :)

    NYSE Billable orders

I trade ishares ETFs, and I do get billables after 2 minutes, but so far the size of the order or going short hasn't been an issue. Is this a new development ?

    AMEX billables

Does anyone know if there is a company out there that provides flat amex fees (preferably under 2$ per 1000) and non-refreshing amex for ETFs ? I trade ETFs a lot and I notice that while quite a few people refresh their orders, theres a large number of traders that do not, and its becoming quite...
