You can use TXF Creator (http://www.txf-express.com) which allows you to combine daily trades to reduce the total number of trades. Another thread in the forum mentioned investotec's tool. It may worth while to try it out.
Why not use TXF Creator 1.3.2 (See http://www.txf-express.com)? It has direct support for Interactive Brokers. You can easily generate Schedule D. Most important, it is a lot cheaper than tradelog and gainskeeper.
I have been fairly actively using my blackberry to do trades. Roughly one third of my over 200 etrades last year were done through my blackberry. It is very convenient for monitoring tickers in an open work space.
Think twice before placing an order. You need to have an exit strategy. Hedging through options is quite useful.

I found a very useful website http://www.txf-express.com/ which offers online service and downloadable software for converting stock trade data to TXF file. You can then import the txf file to TurboTax.
Their service and tools are simple to use. The price is reasonable, as low as 3 bucks...
