I believe a deflationary depression will occur within 3 years; how to protect assets?

The US Dollar was “As good as Gold”, when backed by Gold. It is no longer backed by anything. Our current “Fiat Currency” system is, an “Out of The Money” derivative with no intrinsic value. Other countries, have backed their currency with the US Dollar, creating the largest...

Credit spread (underlying between long and short strikes)

Misinformation ! Between strikes was covered in Example #3. You do not have to maintain cash for your Long positions.

Credit spread (underlying between long and short strikes)

Example #1, at Expiration both option strikes are ITM, your Short is assigned to you & your Long assigns someone else $5 later. The most you are down is $500 per contract. Example #2, at Expiration both option strikes are OTM, no one gets assigned, and you keep the credit you already...

    Butterfly traders

Two wk. example of Butterfly adjustments. Adjustments orders were placed in advance and "Contingent" on the underlying price. I don't think "Buy & Hold" is the way to go either. Carl Enjoy Life! It's limited, you only get as much as you take.

Intel has made a co-processor for their Xeon CPU's. The first versions were built on a PCI bus, eats one slot. It's called the "Xeon Phi", 61 core, 241 hyper threads. Parallel processing, even at lower speeds, can be faster than many networked PC's. The price is comming down. Carl
