I have been experiencing frequent quote freezes. My charts also take a lot longer to load. This has been happening everyday for over a month. Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions?
Is this what big institutional unloading look like? It seems like ages since I saw such a sharp sell off. I thought there was some kind of bad news, but nothing on tv yet.
Ever since we had the hybrid, limit orders are much better than market orders. You have to be very sure of the trade to go market and be prepared to pay for slippage.
I don't live in San Diego, but I'm actually visiting my sister during the expo days. I might stop by if I have the time. I've been to the Expo in New York City twice. There was a lot of people there.

Looks like a lot of prop traders are complaining about the poor executions with the hybrid. The edge in tape reading NYSE seems to be gone.

Very often if I am up a certain amount. I am taking a break now and posting on ET.
If I am down I will be trading the whole day trying to come back. I will be staring at the screen watching every tick looking for trades. This often leads to bigger losses.
