    Question to profitable automated traders

I defiantly break the elite trader type! Special Ed High School drop out, did not know how to read or do math as a teen. Picked up everything on my own. I could fix or design just about anything, and scored an 89 the first time around on my Series 7. Worked prop for 5 yrs and have been writing...

    how does this system looks?

I forgot to add that when back testing a day trading system the results should be consistent every month as far back as you can go. If they don’t you just found something that is a that does not work long term and soon the system will start loosing.

    how does this system looks?

I would not use that system with real money! You need to account for $30 per contract slippage and commission as a general rule! Actually most of the time it’s $12.50 slippage and then the commission on the es.. Here is what I am running on 90 days back test and this is without...

Why do you Like Tradestation Program and Brokerage

Pros and cons on TS. The best charts period. Back testing is easy but makes quite a bit of mistakes on tick data. When the real money hits the tape expect some real issues. An example is a trading system running and it executes a trade then you get stopped out. You shut down the system and...

I guess the government does not get it. Hallmark for example can only sell cards for a few holidays a year. But for pot farmers there are as many as two 4:20 a day….Chachingoo

Mechanical systems a route to the poor house.

I can say this, systems do work! I have a few that work great picking tops and bottoms intra day on indexes. But it took me over 5 years to figure out how and why to write a system. Personally I never believed in system trading until about a year ago. I spent 3 of those years trading prop and...

When will the highest forclosure rate be?

Wow I did not know it was already that bad in some of these areas! I guess it is another opportunity… If I lived in some of these places I would be buying these houses for pennies on the dollar. Not to flip them. But if I got them cheap enough and with the rates out pricing buyers I would make...
