I'm still amazed people still fall for these scams and shady firms and don't just trade with a real, SEC prop firm. But like the saying goes, "a fool and his money....."

FYI...This book has been updated with 3 new interviews. Still a great book that I have read and reread 4 times as I always learn something new each time I read it. Highly recommended:

Right. But that's what I really liked about this book. It supplied practical advice to the typical day trader that you won't find anywhere else. Other trading books talk about TA and set ups, but his book gives info that you can really use to improve your day trading.

Maybe not so much an "edge" but a skill. A skill in the sense that everyone knows they are supposed to do something but human emotions prevent some people from following them (cutting loses for example). Definition of skill: the ability, coming from one's knowledge, practice, aptitude...

Can you post a link here to the old thread/post where you talk about this not being about getting backed and solely about the training. Maybe quote the exact passage as well.

Most are either retail or trading at prop firms. I know that one trader trades at Bright Trading (Dennis Dick) and Jeff Goldman from JC Trading Group is featured as well.
