Based on the traders in my office, I would say that because of the no bullets traders profits were cut in half. In my case, profits were cut by more than half. But, no one is losing money because of no bullets; we are just not making as much.

My first post here after lurking for a while. The market always open on an uptick regardless of what the previous day close was. You can short the open. If you want to short the open then put a market short sell order just before the open.
