Beginner trader here having difficulties avoiding scratches with cash account.

Hi Dking, I'm new(ish) to Options trading myself. IMHO, you may want to paper trade for a while instead of risking real capital, at least until you can develop a strategy that works for you. That said, the market in general seems very volatile right now. I mean, I've been placing paper trades...

Have EVs been overhyped as taking over Gas vehicles? Is realization setting in?

The feasibility of EVs has been over-hyped. They have several things going against them, not least of which is a lack of charging infrastructure. However, that's a moot point anyway because the power grid is so old it wouldn't be able to handle the load. EV adoption is dead in the water.

    ETFs with multiple weekly Options

I'm trying to identify high volume ETFs that are traded daily. I've done multiple Google searches, but besides QQQ and SPY I haven't been able to find any. Could someone please let me know if there are any other domestic or foreign market ETFs with high liquidity that are traded daily besides...

    Closing trades before Expiration

Is it always advisable to close all trades prior to expiration even if it's obvious that they're going to expire worthless? For example, I've been placing paper trades in SPY and QQQ (with 1DTEs). Even if it's obvious the next day that they're going to expire worthless (let's say the market is...

0 commission trading plus options in Canada

That's Canada for you. Not progressive. We always get the s**t end of the stick when it comes to choice. Slim pickings when it comes to just about everything in this country; pathetic. Of course, $0 commission trading is already available in the US (and has been for some time now), and I'm not...

    Trading below the 200D MA

I know this rule isn't set in stone, but I've read that in most instances it's not advisable to place bullish trades on stocks currently trading below their 200D MA. What about a situation such as the following: AMZN has been trading below its 200D MA since Sept 19. In addition, over the last...

Taowave, Do you use Orats' screener? If so, how accurate are the win rates when you back test the strategies on trade candidates that you then trade?

Trailing Stop Loss use with Options

I want to preface this by saying I know some people are against using Stop Losses period when it comes to trading Options. That said, the authors of most trading videos I've ever watched stress the importance of risk mitigation, including using Stop Losses. So, that in mind... I'm wondering if...
