    Amp Futures or Mirus

hey man, looks like your on the right track. i usually check into these boards just to put a bad word in about IB, but I noticed your post. im a current amp client, pretty similar to you. i liked zen, but then they just sold me on trading technologies. I'd suggest calling them up and asking...

it seems like the market is ready for a pullback... but can you survive the markets moving against you for maybe weeks till we get there?

    Amp Futures - Bad Experience

whenever i have an issue i simply call them up and get an immidiate response. i have never had an issue with support from amp. its actually the main reason i switched from IB to them.

    Amp Futures or Mirus

AMP also offers the free version of ninja. The difference between velocity and AMP is that AMP has zen fire and velocity does not. I never tested velocity's data feed, but I imagine its worth the 30 cents to get zen. for my style of trading zen is pretty much essential, actually.

    es us ec s commissions

if your talking markets with your broker your going to have quite the culture shock between your current one and IB. your certainly not paying discount broker prices, but then again your also not getting discount broker services either, by the sounds of it. its up to you on whether its...

There is no recession. Never was , never will be!

i've been holding positions in about 25 markets for the past month, long in about 20, and my account has gone up ~40% over that time-- was actually alot more before monday night. whether were in a recsession or not, market feels a little bullish of late.

Cramer says $125, Jim Jubak says $180!!!!!

wouldnt this be hedging a long position in the cash market? thats not really speculating at all, and the opposite of what everyone on ET does...

Cramer says $125, Jim Jubak says $180!!!!!

i think eventually people have an 'eureka' type moment where they realize that all these company's business plans are modeled on gas at 40 $ a barrel, and that at 3, 4, or 5 times the cost models can fail.

Cramer says $125, Jim Jubak says $180!!!!!

i just wonder at what point the stock market gets smoked when people realize the smart money is in oil and that every corporation is overpriced as the assumption of cheep oil changes...

I should have listened, IB is indeed a joke.

i think its sort of a big deal to get locked out of your account with open positions. customer service available (sort of), and perhaps some avoidable procrastination dont make up for the fact that IB has seperated this guy from what is his. IB is not really that bad, but why settle for...

    Words of Wisdom

stuff to think on, but this list, for most people, could probably be subtitled "20 ways to lose your money". no one is just a few talking points away from making money...

An Excellent Article From the NY Times

corn and soy bean was a terrible idea to use towards biofuels. i believe that 1 acre of land, in 1 year's time, can produce 30 gallons of fuel with beans and 50 gallons with corn (or vice versa). note, thats not gallons. not sure if that includes using petro chemicals, but you can see how...

    Interactive Brokers not answering telephones

i found one that i really like that is very accomodating. however, it seems like there are alot of brokers on these boards so I would just as soon not say. If your legitimately interested in what I use, I could PM it to you, but I am not interested in getting involved in a fight between...

    Crude is cheap at $113/barrel

i think its pretty obvious that fundamental factors such as the dollar and S/D determine oil price, to an extent, but im with those that think we're in a bubble. but more importantly, i think if your trying to out analyze the big money on fundamental factors your setting yourself up for...

    Interactive Brokers not answering telephones

I was with IB but then I wisened up, did a little homework, and went elsewhere. you can find way better commissions and service at other brokerages, all while also feeling like a valued customer. i never felt that way at IB.
