That's too much work , I need an indicator that puts price on a straight line with an expansion mechanism that shows me which way price is heading. :rolleyes:

I'm looking for an edge… It must have few indicators or variants It must work on all counters/stocks bonds , indices , currencies , commodities etc. It must not need any backtesting . . . All past potential trades should be clearly visible. It must eliminate lag in moving averages It should...

Can't argue with that.

Maybe some just use different words to describe it , so long as it makes them money.

Moving averages works best with the lag removed.

The short term overbought/oversold indicator is good for that.

Yes . . . basing you return expectations in line with your trade time frames.

That's right , work with the bigger picture first then fine tune.

The moving average is one of the most reliable indicators . . . imo.
