Yes!!!! Unfortunately there is no software which covers everything. I use 2 software packages now (MC and NT) and would need a third one for portfolio backtesting (probably Amibroker).

Maybe "max. number of symbols for portfolio testing". Only a few platforms do unlimited symbols. Multicharts is limited to 100 symbols (unlimited only with the expensive "PRO" version).

Hi, I have a lot of ASCII files with single futures contracts (daily and intraday). I'm looking for a software tool to link these contracts together into continuous contract ASCII files, preferably with some kind of back-adjusting. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Which version do you use? I had the same experience with versions prior 2.1. But version 2.1 is very stable and I don't have these problems anymore.

Sorry, I overlooked that it´s an optimization. I only saw "170,000 bars". My fault.

Neoticker would need almost 3 minutes to backtest on a single stock 10 years of daily data. This can´t be correct.
