This is pretty amazing timing. I was about a day or two away from leaving TradeStation and going to IB. The relatively low market volatility in recent days was really taking its toll and I've been looking for a way to squeeze more out of my winning trades. Great job TradeStation!

Hmmmm.... I've been a TradeStation brokerage customer for several months now and this is the first I've heard of this. I wish they would have sent out an e-mail on this. Do you have to call and request this fee structure or is this automatic for everyone?

I had a nightmare with Datek that essentially ended my trading relationship with them. Their browser based order entry screen didn't have seperate buttons for "sell" and "sell short" like every other broker I had ever seen. Considering that their interface is slow to respond to order entries...

The very first number they quoted me was $30K minimum. I did notice that some of the literature said $50K, but they told me $30K all along. Maybe they made a recent change in the minimum.

I have not used the auto trade features and probably won't. That's a bit too black-boxish for me. However, the Easy Language scripting language has been around for a while and you can do some pretty cool stuff with it.
